Privacy policy

Museori is operated by Alpha Byte LLC. At Museori, we value your trust. This policy explains how we handle your information with care and transparency.

Information We Collect

When you place an order, create an account, sign up for our emails, or save your bag, we may collect details such as your name, email, shipping address, payment information, and the items in your bag. This helps us process your order and provide a smooth shopping experience.

When you browse our store, we also collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view and the site that sent you to us.

How We Use Your Information

  • To process and ship your orders
  • To send order updates and customer support responses
  • To share news, promotions, or care tips (only if you’ve opted in)
  • To email you a link back to your bag when you ask us to save it
  • To show our ads on other platforms, such as Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram, and to measure how they perform
  • To improve our website and customer experience

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We do share limited information with advertising partners to run and measure our ads, as described below.

Sharing Your Information

We may share necessary details with trusted partners like payment processors, shipping providers, or email services. These partners only use your information to complete the services we rely on them for.

Advertising partners: If you join our email list, including by saving your bag, our email provider Klaviyo shares your email address with Pinterest. Pinterest matches it to existing Pinterest accounts so we can show our ads to list members who use Pinterest, leave them out of certain ads, or reach people with similar interests. If you unsubscribe from our emails, you are removed from the list, and Klaviyo removes you from the Pinterest audience within about 48 hours. This is separate from the Pinterest API Use section below, which covers information we receive from our own Pinterest account.

Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make browsing smoother and to understand how visitors use our store. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity show us how the site is used, such as the pages viewed, clicks, and scrolling.

Pinterest, Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) tags on our site record visits and actions such as viewing a product, adding an item to your bag, and completing a purchase, so we can measure our ads. We may also use this information to show our ads on Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited our store. If you enter your email address on our site or at checkout, the Pinterest and Meta tags may send it in hashed (scrambled) form, to match your visit to an account on their platforms.

Your choices: You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time, and you can opt out of data sharing for advertising on this browser at Your Privacy Choices. If you have a Pinterest, Facebook or Instagram account, you can also limit how ads are personalized in that account's settings.

Pinterest API Use

Museori uses the Pinterest API to manage and analyze our own Pinterest business account (@museori). This site and our internal tools are not endorsed by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or otherwise officially connected to Pinterest, Inc.

What Pinterest data we access: Through the Pinterest API we may access information from our own Pinterest business account, including Pin and board metadata, organic and paid analytics, ad campaign performance data, and our connected product catalog.

How we use Pinterest data: Pinterest-derived data is used solely for our internal reporting, content planning, ad performance review, and product catalog synchronization. It is used by Museori only and is not shared with any third party.

Data retention and deletion: Pinterest-derived data stored in our internal systems is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above. If our Pinterest account is disconnected from our internal tool, or upon written request, any Pinterest-derived data we have stored will be deleted within 30 days.

No resale or redistribution: We do not sell, license, redistribute, or otherwise share Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data with any third party. We do not aggregate Pinterest data from other accounts or users.

Your Rights

If you live in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data. Just email us at support@museori.com with your request.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to stop sharing your email address with advertising partners by unsubscribing from our emails or by emailing support@museori.com.

Data Security

We use secure systems to protect your information. While no system is 100% foolproof, we do our best to keep your data safe.

Updates

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect new practices or regulations. The latest version will always be available on this page.
